My career in this industry started over 25 years ago, my first position was that of a BLO (Broker liaison officer) at LifeGro in 1984, I slowly grew through the ranks and in 1990 became a broker consultant for Sanlam.
As time went on and I grew and learnt about the industry even further, I excelled in my position at Sanlam, winning multiple awards for excellence in my field such as the Sanlam Unit Trust Champion for 3 consecutive years from 1996-1998 and was named Sanlam broker consultant of the year in 1998.
Whilst working and achieving these goals were worthwhile, I continued to strive for excellence and wanted to push the boundaries of success even further, as such I attempted the prestigious CFP® qualification.
I successfully completed this in 1996 and was admitted to the Financial Planning Institute as qualified Certified Financial Planner® Professional. At the end of 1999, my scope for growth at Sanlam had come to an end and thus I made the bold move to start my own practice as an Independent Financial Planner.
Through hard work and dedication we have built a successful practice, with clients who trust and value our services for over 15 years.

I was born into the Financial services Industry as both my Mum & Dad have worked in it long before I was born and as I grew up I would often here them talk about the industry and the jargon that came with.
As time went on I quickly picked up the jargon they had used and often turned it around on them to play jokes and surprise them by mentioning an Endowment or RA, much to their bewilderment as this was coming from a 10 year old, little did I know that as time went on I gained a passion for the industry and Financial Planning itself.
I graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2012 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree and instead of pursuing the CA route changed my post grad major to Financial Planning, soon after I graduated from the University of the Free State in 2013 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and gained entry to sit for the Certified Financial Planner Competency Exam (Board Exam) in 2014.
Upon successfully passing the Exam, I qualified to join the Financial Planning Institute –the professional body for Certified Financial Planner and was recognized as the Youngest Certified Financial Planner® professional in South Africa.
